Match for Mac
‘Match for Mac’ will be held at Boundary Park on 17 May 2012 in memory of Chris McManus who was killed by terrorists after being held captive for 10 months. He was a life long Latics fan. Guest players David Eyres and Lee Cartwright will be making an appearance alongside Chris’ familiy and friends. All funds raised will go to Amnesty international. One of my lampshades will be raffled off along with lots of other goodies… If you live nearby, come along and show your support

2012 marks thirty years of Manchester Craft & Design Centre, and I would be delighted if you could join us for an afternoon of 1982-themed music and refreshments to celebrate our 30th anniversary year. Throughout the year we are programming a series of projects to celebrate the three decades in which creative businesses have found success here, and to share our plans for the future. Our launch event will take place on Saturday 28th April from 2-5pm, with speeches at 2.30pm. We will also be launching our new exhibition, Collecting History, where commissioned artist Lucy Harvey will be working with visitors’ memories, objects and images, to create an installation of stories celebrating the centre’s history. If you have a story to share you can also add it online on Lucy's Collecting History blog.
